What I do.

A small studio that does a focused set of things properly: design, build, words, photography, video, and the technical foundations. A few things I'll gladly point you elsewhere for, and I'll tell you early when that's the case.

In scope

  • Bespoke marketing sites

    Hand-coded, designed and built around what your business actually does. Astro under the hood, edge-hosted, fast by default.

  • Words and structure

    Editing your copy into plain English that sounds like you: headlines, microcopy, the order things go in. Full copywriting when you'd rather I wrote it.

  • Technical SEO

    Schema, Core Web Vitals, sitemaps, structured data, and the local landing pages that win the long tail. The foundations every site should ship with.

  • Photography and image editing

    Editorial photography shot in person, plus retouching and art direction, so the site runs on real images instead of stock.

  • Video and motion

    Showreels, hero loops and social cut-downs, edited and compressed to load fast. Good Measure shares a roof with a video studio.

  • Forms, onboarding and members areas

    Enquiry forms, structured onboarding for new clients, and gated member areas, wired into whatever you already use.

  • Optional CMS

    Headless content editing for the parts you'll update often. Sanity, Strapi, Decap. No WordPress.

  • Hosting and handover

    Fast edge hosting, set up and configured, with a proper walk-through at handover so the site is genuinely yours to run.

Better elsewhere

  • Brand identity from scratch

    I design on top of a brand, not under it. If the logo and identity need building first, I'll point you to someone who only does that.

  • Online shops

    I don't build e-commerce. For Shopify or a full storefront, there are studios who do nothing else, and do it brilliantly.

  • Page builders

    WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and Webflow aren't my tools. If that's what you're after, I'll say so early and save us both the time.

  • Mobile apps

    Websites, not native apps. iOS and Android are a different craft, and a different team.

  • Campaigns and ongoing marketing

    I'll wire the site cleanly into your analytics, ad and email tools, but I don't run the ads, manage social, or write the ongoing content.

When a job genuinely isn't mine, I'd rather hand you to someone whose work it is. I know good people for the things I don't do, brand identity, e-commerce, the odd specialist, and I'll make the introduction when you need it. Just ask.
